The Feeblemindedness of the Inept and the Ignorant

Get Ready To Rock (UK) aug 2006
"...This demo five-tracker has all the right ingredients: Floyd, Genesis (Hackett period) and late sixties pop influences. Humour and a certain quirkiness. And lots of musical excess. The excess is actually well controlled. If you like your prog with the keyboards upfront and a glorious Hammond evoking memories of a golden age, this Belgian four-piece could be just your salvation..." Read the full review here.

Lately there has been some sort of explosion of progressive rockbands coming out of Belgium. Now there is NEO-PROPHET, a band which plays your typical Neo-Prog in English tradition, taking their influences from 80s MARILLION, 70s GENESIS and it also reminds me a lot of EVERON and SYLVAN for the more modern progfans out there. 5 songs are included on this mini-CD, Best track is the uplifting opener "Unwritten rules". Looking forward to their first full-length CD ‘Monsters’, which should be out later this year. (Points: 8.0 out of 10). Read the full review here.

Read the full review here.

Their songs posses expandier arrangments structures, and I have to recomand performing coherent capabilities, as same as keybord includings by Sjoerd Bruyneel. This is an interesting act, and I suppose that under the progressive genre they will develop soonly own qualities...Rating : 8 / 10 (free translation)
