Mid 2005: 3 experienced rock musicians, Sjoerd, Hans and Rudi of southwest Belgium are looking for a suitable guitar player. A guy named Frank, gets the same day in contact, but appears to live on the other side of the country!!…Which after all isn’t a problem for him (it only demonstrated the enthusiasm). After years of wandering in multiple genres, the four could finally play the music they all cherish, averse to all hypes. Their very varied (heavy/prog/neoprog) rock, with a wink to the better 70-80’s material of bands like Pink Floyd, Genesis, ELP, Marillion, Rush…was released for the first time as the 4-track “Feeblemindedness –demo”. The overall enthusiasm of the fans and the worldwide press, gave only the energy to continue to write and pre-produce together new and even more varied stuff. Respecting all individual musical backgrounds and preferences and without any musical boundaries- as long as the typical Neo-sound stayed intact - the first full CD ‘Monsters’ was recorded in the own WAMP studio in 2006 and 2007.Every draught of the better Belgian beers , lead to new musical inspiration in that creative process!

In order to offer listeners and fans an optimal, professional sound, the band agreed to personally invest and the entire Monsters full CD (WAMP-001) was finally re-recorded in the famous ACE studio (Aartselaar / B) and produced by Frank van Bogaert between April and June 2008. Its release was done in Feb 2009 under the own WAMP-umbrella (Without Any Musical Pretension) and resulted in worldwide even greater feedback and reviews, a Dutch management (Determined Music Management) and several distribution deals around the world. Soon after the release original drummer Rudi was replaced by Wes J due to the know ‘musical differences’. Wes proved soon to be not only behind the drum kit an acquisition, but also to be a true team player withs lots of creative ideas. On 01 Feb 2010, guitarist Frank and the band decided to split ways and to say "Goodbye" to eachother. The next day already , 02 Feb 2010 , Belgian 'guitarwizzard' Geert Annys (ex Stainless Steel, Mystery , Kate's Desire, ...), with whom Sjoerd had already played together in a former life, was interested to give it a try . During the rehearsal planned that very same day , it became soon clear that the search was over and Geert joined the Neo-team the same day. He prepared himself in 7 rehearsal to learn the full live set  and gave in the same period the overal Neo-sound a true energy injection. Since end March 2010, the band is therefore more than ever ready and eager to promote the Monsters-CD all over EU .Also the first concerts planned outside Belgium (Netherlands and Germany) were booked in April/May 2010.These four are best on stage and their blend of clever arrangements, instrument mastery, catchy vocals and tons of energy and enthusiasm are getting widespread recognition.
